Job Description

Head of Physical Education / ECA Coordinator nurtures students’ physical fitness, coordination, and sportsmanship through structured activity, sport, and wellness education. They design and deliver lesson plans, promote healthy lifestyles, and encourage teamwork. They assess students’ progress, manage sports equipment, and foster a safe, energetic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and conduct daily physical education lessons for students.
Organize sports events, drills, games, and fitness programs.
Monitor and assess each student’s physical development and performance.
Teach rules, techniques, and strategies for various sports.
Ensure safe use and maintenance of sports equipment always.
Promote teamwork, discipline, and lifelong healthy habits among students.
Prepare students for school, inter-school and district-level competitions.
Coordinate with other teachers for holistic school sports curriculum.

Skill & Experience

Strong understanding of diverse sports and physical exercises.
Excellent communication and motivational abilities with students.
Ability to design safe, age-appropriate fitness lesson plans.
Good organizational skills for managing events and equipment.
Patience, resilience, and enthusiasm in teaching physical education.
First-aid knowledge with attention to student health and safety.
