Job Title: Technical Secretary / Engineering Secretary

Job Summary:
The Technical Secretary provides administrative and documentation support to the engineering team and management. The role requires coordination of technical documents, correspondence, and schedules while supporting project and office operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide secretarial and administrative support to engineers and project managers
Prepare, format, and manage technical documents, reports, drawings registers, and correspondence
Maintain project files, submittals, method statements, and approvals
Coordinate meetings, site visits, and project schedules
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
Assist in preparation of quotations, tenders, BOQs, invoices, and LPOs
Track project documentation, material submissions, and approvals
Ensure proper filing and document control as per project requirements
Maintain confidentiality of technical and commercial information

Qualifications (Engineering-Based):

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Industrial or related field)
Additional certification in Administration or Office Management is an advantage

Skills & Competencies:

Good understanding of engineering terminology and project documentation
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Familiarity with AutoCAD, document control systems, or ERP is an advantage
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to coordinate with technical and non-technical teams

Experience:

1–3 years’ experience as a Technical Secretary, Engineering Assistant, or similar role (preferred)
