Hiab driver Job Description
A Hiab Driver operates a truck-mounted crane for transporting, loading, and unloading heavy goods. Responsibilities include ensuring safe delivery, adhering to traffic laws, and maintaining vehicle condition. Tasks involve route planning, crane operation, and paperwork management.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive a Hiab truck equipped with an articulated crane to transport goods and materials to and from designated locations
- Perform pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and crane to ensure they are in good working condition
- Safely load and unload cargo using the crane and ensure it is properly secured for transport
- Collaborate with other team members to plan the most efficient and safe routes for transportation
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle and crane
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, including items delivered, time of delivery, and any issues that may have arisen during transportation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other members of the team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, perform routine maintenance checks, and report any issues or needed repairs to the appropriate parties
3. Water tanker, Dump truck driver-1
Dump Truck Driver Responsibilities:
- Transporting crushed rock, sand, and gravel to and from specified locations.
- Verifying the types of materials being transported and ensuring that they do not exceed weight restrictions.
- Ensuring that the materials are loaded correctly onto the dump truck.
- Greasing the dump truck every 5,000 miles.
- Inspecting the dump truck before and after every trip, which includes checking the oil, gas and water levels as well as the lights and tires.
- Promptly reporting any accidents, injuries or mechanical faults to management.
- Performing regular maintenance to ensure that the truck is in good working order.
- Maintaining accurate driver logs.
- Complying with all safety rules and regulations.
3. JCB, Boom Loader driver-1
Job Description: Must have a proven track record of at least 3 years of experience operating or maintaining boom loaders in the Gulf region, OR within the United Arab Emirates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate boom loaders safely and efficiently on various job (northern emirates) sites.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on boom loaders and other heavy machinery.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
4. Skid loader Operator-1
The Skid Loader Operator is responsible for the operation of a skid loader equipment as required by project operations, as well as its basic preventive maintenance.
Detailed Job Description:
- Conducts a thorough check of the equipment before and after operation on a daily basis.
- Performs loading operations of various materials into a dump truck using the equipment.
- Performs stockpiling operations of various materials as required by project operations.
- Carries and transports various materials using the equipment within the machine limit of the capacity.
- Ensures that the equipment is operated within the limits of its specifications as indicated on the equipment manual.
- Ensures that the equipment is properly parked and shut-off on the designated location after operation.
- Ensures the cleanliness of the interior, exterior and accessories of the equipment is maintained at all times.
- Assists in the basic preventive maintenance of the equipment.
- Ensures that no alterations/modifications of any kind is made on the equipment unless approved by PED Management.
- Reports any findings during checking or operating the equipment to the immediate superior for proper action.
- Follows established safety guidelines, procedures and safe equipment operation practices.
- Performs other related job/duties as may be assigned by the superior from time to time.
(The working hours will be 10+2 hours per day, seven days a week, Offshore work.)
