Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in civil inspection, with a strong background in the construction of medical buildings, hospitals, or healthcare facilities. Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of civil works on medical building construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
- Review and monitor construction plans, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure quality control during the construction process by inspecting materials, workmanship, and processes.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and engineers to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise on-site.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to timelines, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
- Prepare detailed reports on inspections, including recommendations and required corrective actions.
- Oversee the installation and construction of civil structures, including foundations, drainage systems, and utilities.
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with regulatory and safety standards specific to healthcare facilities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil inspection, preferably with experience in medical buildings or healthcare facility projects.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations, particularly in the healthcare sector.
- Proven experience in site inspections, quality control, and project management.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and plans.
- Strong understanding of materials, methods, and safety protocols relevant to medical building construction.
- Certification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
