IT administrator ensures company’s employees can use software and hardware to complete their daily tasks and maintains the computer networks of all types of organizations, providing technical support and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly.
Key responsibilities:
1. Maintain Computer Systems: IT Administrators to review a company’s computer systems to ensure that all aspects are operating efficiently. IT Administrators will troubleshoot problems, configure hardware and software, implement back up processes and assess systems for upgrades or replacement.
2. Complete System Installs and Upgrades: IT Administrators are responsible for installing new systems and assessing and implementing upgrades as needed. They conduct consistent analyses of a company’s computer systems to determine if existing components meet the company’s need and perform upgrades or updates as needed.
3. Manage Network Security: IT Administrators to assess security programs and decide which is best for the company for which they are employed. They will install and manage these systems, conduct updates, create passwords and run check for viruses and spyware.
Detailed Responsibilities:
· Daily Routing and Monitor Network Switch & Firewall Portal, VPN Connection and Domain Servers, Antivirus Portal, NEC PABX Routing, & Logging on Event Management Daily
· Marinating UPS Backup and Checking the Event Management
· Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
· Monitor datacenter health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed
· Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments
· Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed
· Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups
· Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer system, Network Server and Virtualization
· Office 365 Administration
· Microsoft Azure Portal Administration
· Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connection, printer and software issues reported to the service desk
· Monitor and remove virus, spyware, and other non-authorized software
· Setup workstations, computer assembly/disassembly, installing hardware and software applications
· Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.
· Interact with staff or clients through a series of actions, either face to face E-mail or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues
· Responsible for supporting Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7 / Office 2007 And 2010, Windows Server, Small Business Sever 2008R2 & 2012R2 ,2016 Active Directory and Group Policy Etc.
· Purchasing, monitoring, and inventory of office equipment and IT supplies
· Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
· Responsible for installation & Configuration troubleshooting of Printers & Scanner
· Monitor all Network attached IP Cameras and NVR
· Setting up VPN Connection Site to Site
· Maintenance of (ZKteco) BIOMETRIC machine and record keeping of attendance
· Setup Security policies for users
· Design / Manage Various Website for the company
· Administrate infrastructure, including Firewall, third party Database, malware protection software and other processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role for at least 3-5 years.
- Strong knowledge of networking, hardware, software, and security protocols.
- Knowledgeable on Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Excellent problem-solving and with good communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet) is a plus.
- Knowledgeable on Email security (TrendMicro, Proofpoint) & Microsoft defender
