We are looking for a purchasing assistant to join our team with good communication, confident with well organized & procurement experience, and ready to take challenges and taking more responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Research potential vendors
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
- Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
- Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
- Prepare cost analysis
- Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
- Liaise with sales team to ensure all products arrive in good condition
Requirements
- 2 years experience in Dubai
- Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similar role
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel & Power Point
- Knowledge of market research
- Solid organizational skills
- BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Candidate must be trust worthy and must have references.
- Should be a self starter, can do attitude and can work with minimal supervision.
- Salary will be negotiable depending on experience
